The brief
The gym for a Grupo Piñero residential development in Tulum.
Grupo Piñero commissioned the gym for its residential development in Tulum. A pure design project: we run nothing here — we come in with Strategic Consulting and leave with the space drawn and built.
The challenge was the same as in any fitness space done properly: that the room gets used, not that it photographs well. Layout, circulation, light and equipment chosen so that someone coming down to train at seven in the morning finds the place already solved.
It is the clearest example that the solutions can be bought separately: some clients only need the design, and that is fine.
